Hi all, my Daughters torch 9800 has started to freeze when you try to use the qwerty keyboard, but only if fully 'opened' if you know what i mean, i.e slide fully extended, its like its locking itself?? If you hold the slider in place a few mm lower it will work perfectly, but thats not practical - You cant type whilst holding the phone in a delicate postion!

If you type when fully extended , the screen will remain frozen,no response, but it will show what you typed when the phone is closed onto touch screen again?!!

Touch screen working fine, but Daughter likes to use her keyboard. i think it may be the lock button jamming, thats all i can think of. Its about a year old, but been well loved, I cant afford another yet and shes due her upgrade in july, so sort of stuck. The only thing I could think of would be to open the phone and cut the lock cable, but maybe its the handset itself, it freezes as soon as the slider makes the click open noise. >sigh< The repair shops around here arent the most trustworthy, dont really know what to do at the mo. Any advice would be most appreciated.
