I'm starting to find that panes are not my most liked feature so far, is it even possible to add/remove them?

Anyways the thing is it gives me icons in several places. One thing I would like a fix for is downloads, so i created a download folder for the "all" download icons. Seeing downloads in the DL pane is fine until it puts my downloaded games in the DL Pane also. I want them in a separate pane or folder, I have the games folder but if I hide the icon in the DL panel it also hides it in the folder? so we have dupe icons that we don't have separate control of.

Am I missing something?
