So I was looking at the spec sheets for the Torch 2 today and getting excited about the mobile hotspot feature that is suppose to be included in BB OS 6.1. I am curious to know though if it would be possible to implement a software change on the Torch 1 to enable a mobile hotspot capability? On the Palm Pre +, Verizon wireless had Palm write a mobile hotspot program which was ported over to the Palm Pre (minus). It worked well and was all handled in software. Just wondering if anybody knows if the Torch 1 could be software modified to have the mobile hotspot or if there is a hardware lock preventing it?
