Photos sent via text are received as gray arrow then thumbnail

I just got my Blackberry Torch. Before this I had a Curve. I did not have this issue w/the Curve. When I send photos via text to my sister who has a Huawei Impulse, she receives them as a gray arrow then when she clicks on the arrow she can only get a thumbnail that she can't enlarge. We are both w/ATandT. My husband has a Huawei Ascend II with Cricket and has no problem receiving my text photos. My media encryption is turned off in Options-Security. I can't figure out what is causing this?

The ATandT store employee was able to figure this out. I just wanted to follow up in case anyone else has this issue. The problem was I was typing in the same text bubble that contained my photo attachment. So it came through on the recipient's side as a slideshow.
