    I have a Torch 9800 and just recently started using the Podcast app that came with the phone. Although it has worked quite well for many days now, just in the last day or so I have gotten a red star on the media icon, which I can see by drilling down that it is coming from the Podcast icon, but there are no starred items inside the podcast folder.

    I have tried unsubscribing to all feeds but the star is persistent and will not release no matter what I do. I also scrolled through each and every podcast and that also did not clear it. Any ideas from the brain trust?

    Did you try a battery pull ? Sounds like something is stuck there. That tends to be the end all, be all bb fix.
