Over the last few weeks I've noticed that my Torch is painfully slow. My phone is not loaded with apps or launchers- probably about 20 in all. Despite multiple battery pulls the phone lags, even right after the reboot. When I select something (photos, CB launcher, TuneIn, calculator--anything) the delay is about 6 seconds. I'm running OS bundle 695. Anyone else experience anything similar?
What version of the os is in that bundle? If I'm not mistaken the OS (''app version'') is 6.0.0.246 ?? If that's the case, you might consider upgrading to a newer release ? Let us know

No harm in what I am about to say, but this torch is similar to a windows os in the fact that it needs to constantly have batt pulls (restart the pc), and wiping the os off (reinstalling the os on the hd). I like my phone but it just doesn't run as smooth as I would like to. I have .526 too. And I also have noticed more lags while texting and changing menus. Windows gibes me the same frustrations

Now that you mention it... since I upgraded my Torch to .546 it does run faster. Additionally I installed the free app MEMORY BOOSTER (AFBB). It works similar to a registry cleaner on a windows computer and cleans up clutter on the Torch. I've had it for about a month and run it on an irregular basis. So far it has cleaned 102.76Mb. Just a thought
