and look at the very top of the screen it says;

Blackberry Torch 9800 with OS7 Update & Support

Could that mean they are getting ready to roll out the OS7 for the 9800? Maybe that's why they released all those free apps for OS7 today.

Torch hardware doest not have the capability to support OS7 full stop. Unless there is a change in the way OS 7 codings are being written.

There wouldn't be a benefit to RIM allowing OS7 on a 9800. Must be a mistake.
