I have noticed that during a call I am unable to bring up the on-screen number-pad. Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks.

The torch has to be closed for the onscreen number pad button to become active. When its open it expects you to use the physical keypad. Just like bbm.

Well that's just stupid - sliding the screen down just hangs up on the phone conversation.

Yes...but if you have the keyboard open, why can't you just use that? Having both the physical and onscreen keyboard active at the same time is redundant.

You can disable that in Phone Options

Because I want it and the buttons are bigger.

Having a trackpad and a touch-screen is somewhat redundant too.

Never said it wasn't. But as thecoach said, just shut off sliding shut hanging up the phone in Options and your woes are over.

Except I like sliding it closed to end the call

Oh well, can't have my cake and eat it too

Haha you pretty much nailed it there. When I have a slider, i prefer to slide it shut to end the call as well, so I feel your pain.

OR! You could start the call with the slider already closed and open/close it to end the call!

    Some people are never happy.
