Hi I bought BB Torch in feb 2011 and immediately upgraded with OS 6.0.0.448. Recently i upgraded to OS 6.0.0.668 and i have noticed that i am not able to Touch Call to anyone from phone book. Earlier with 448, i was able to find the contact in the phone book and Touch Call the contact. Now when i locate my contact i have to press the HARD key for calling (green color) after selecting the contact. Is this a feature issue with OS 668 or there is another issue with the fone.

    Thanks

I actually think that's the way the 9800 should be. Not being able to touch call helps not making mistakes by calling a random contact. How many times have you found out your 9800 unlocked in your pocket because the lock button is too sensitive? I actually preferred when it wasn't working, on 448 or 600.

Good to hear that this is an OS based feature issue and not a technical glitch with my fone

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I open a contact and see a phone icon on the bottom row, next to delete. I touch it and it dials the number highlighted. If there's more than one number, I can touch the number and it dials. I'm on .600

I noticed that this option was not available with the original OS, I think that .448 had the ability as well as the .600 which I'm still using. Don't know about .666 or .668 though.

.666 does have it. The build before didn't have it for me. Since I am a Seidio Surface holster guy, I have never had a problem with the lock button. I like the touch to dial feature rather than having to resort to the trackpad.
