I used my phone for about 6-7 hours with some internet use, bbm, texting calls and in general getting used to my new phone. Went from 100% to 30%. I drained the battery until it had to shut down. Next day, for 6 hours, it lost 10-15%? cuz i just used it for like less than 15 min total of internet and bbm. 6 hours later its at 45% with some bbm use and texting a few calls. Are you guys getting the same kind of battery life with the torch?
In 7 hrs I am down to 70% with about 30 min talk, 2 hrs on the net, 15 emails, 30 texts, some bbm's, 20 min of youtube and a lot of navigating through the phone. Have hardly put it down

I have an issue where the battery indicates full in the morning (i charge overnight) and then around 15 minutes later without any use it indicates 85% lol
My Torch has really good battery life. Used it moderately during my 8 hour work shift and then used it heavily (videos, slacker, text, calls, etc) for 8 more hours and went to bed with the battery life at 30%.
my battery is pretty inconsistent. I'm trying to figure it out. I've had it last 2 days then on the next charge it lasts one day. Last night I went to sleep with it at about 25% charge at 10:30pm. The phone died before my alarm went off at 5:40am.
Up checking email at 0500, email, slacker, YouTube, phone calls and email/BBM all day, Downloaded app a bit ago. 1940 now and at 3/4 battery left. That has been pretty consistent.
I can definitely agree with the OP about the battery issue. I've been using my Torch just like I did my 9700 except at 10% screen brightness but with it automatically dimming after 20 seconds. I cannot use my Torch on 3G for very long if I do my battery drains quickly. Yesterday I had it on 3G and it lasted 8 hours before it was completely drained. Today I've had it on Edge with maybe 10 minutes of 3G (I live in a solid 3G area) since I took it off the charger at 1 p.m. As I'm typing this I'm down to 38% on Edge!!!!! This isn't my first Torch either, this is my 4th! I've taken them all back for the battery because most people on here seem to be getting great battery life. I love this phone but I don't know what I'm doing wrong!
P.S. The only apps running in the background are the usual blackberry core apps

So sorry to hear people are having so many issues with the battery. I have not had any problems and I use moderate to heavy for about 10-12 hours a day.
