No longer getting Facebook notifications

Hey guys. I did a search for this but couldn't find any conclusive results. Anyway, facebook no longer gives me notifications, apart from friend requests. Anyone got any idea how to resolve this?

Are you running the newest version of FB? I recently had the same problem and then once I upgraded it everything is working fine again.

Facebook 2.xx was notorious for this but 3.0 is better for notifications but not messaging/chat not as much. so like the 2nd post on this thread update to 3.xx then if that doesn't help then at least get your messages with facebook messenger. It's an app by facebook available on their mobile website not in the appworld and it's pretty reliable compared to facebook notifications on the blackberry

It's not RIM's fault it's Facebook's. Take it up with them.

I have the 9810 and I get notifications, they show up in my taskbar, but when I click them I can't shortcut to them, I actually have to click the app and clear them. I deleted facebook because its a pain in the a$$ to do it this way.

maybe the problem is not with Blackberry, maybe it's the Facebook account configuration.

whatever the problem I'm proud of it. Facebook notifications are are useless anyway. I turned all my off anyway. I got a few friends that I didn't want to chance hurting their feelings by telling them I was no interested in their every freaking move. It had gotten almost to the point where it was like we were living together or something. Good ridden

True. I don't own my friends and therefore do not need to know where they are and what they are doing at all times...if I wanted that I would use Twitter more often...of course, there are always those friends that want to know what I am doing all the time, will literally sit and watch my page, and anything that comes up they will like AND comment on it...even if I post about 20 pictures of the same thing...each gets a LIKE AND COMMENT from the same person....proud of myself, just deleted this person today.... haha.
