About a week into owning the torch I was in a meeting and I put the phone on silent, it has not been the same since. At least 3 to 4 times a day the phone goes totally silent, does not ring, no sound at all, have tried everything inside the phone I can possible think of. The only thing that works is taking the battery out for a few seconds, then after re-boot it is fine again????? Any suggestions?????
Well, instead of pulling the battery each time, try an easier reset alt+aA^+del - hold that for a couple of seconds, then it should reboot for you.
The only thing I would think of off hand is to reinstall your OS. Or, if you are going to reinstall your OS and you haven't already upgraded to .214, you (might) want to go ahead and upgrade and kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
