I have been having troubles tethering. and i can't figure out why. I have done what TuT i have found said to do, but it still doesn't work. says unable to connect. i know yall must anwser this a thousand times, but i just can't get it to work. I have a Torch (of course) i'm trying to do it through the usb cable and i want to know if using tethering though Desktop manager will cost me more since i don't have a plan that supports tethering
You can tether without a plan. You just have to have it set up properly. There are many threads with instructions on this site. A search will give you the required info. To the OP, you might want to post exactly how you are trying to tether so someone can give you real advice. If I were you I wouldn't use DM to tether, set up a DUN modem.
