I believe there is a sticky topic up above for just such a thing.EDIT**Then again maybe not. It looks like that post requires the phone to already be unlocked. Sorry about that but I'm sure one of the many amazing folks on this forum will soon help you out.

You have to first buy an unlock code from somewhere like cellunlock.net, then they email you your unlock code. Once you receive it, you stick your SIM card in it and your phone will prompt you for the unlock code. Just enter it and you're done.

If you decide to buy it from cellunlock.net, you can use the 50% off coupn "crackb50". Here's the link: CellUnlock.net Wireless- Unlock Any Blackberry Model Worldwide Remotely by Code..

never said it was cheap. I have no doubt that there are cheaper ones out there. I've heard that it can be unlocked for as little as $5. IDK, you get what you pay for?

8$ on freethisberry.com. have used them myself, very fast and very reliable. Would recommend them to everyone.

With ebay and/or amazon you never know what your getting. A nice reputable company that has someone on the forums here if you need help is a huge boost of confidence if you run into problems.

Very true. For less than a buck, the risk was minimal. In this case, it paid off. YMMV!

I was asked about the ebay listing in a PM. Unfortunately, the sender has PMs turned off or blocked. So here's the link if anyone wants to check it out.
