    Yesterday morning my blackberry torch 9800 went really hot and then my battery drained from 100% to 0% in the space of 5 minutes. My phone will not turn on at all now and the red light flashes and does nothing else after i put it in the charger. Please help!!!

    was thinking about doing that but didn't want to waste my money. Do you think that would work then ?

    The process to determine fault is to try the least expensive items to most expensive. Replacing battery is cheaper than replacing phone at this point.

    Before the worst thing happen, try backing up your Torch first if possible. Try connecting your Torch, with the battery removed, to BlackBerry Desktop Software using USB cable.
