sup, i Mike and i have a 9800... it works for the most part.. a little while ago people i have been texting and people that text me have been getting a auto generated text message back its just something like this ";jkadfiauwdfuahghdfvgasdhflakjsdfh" and its always the same one no matter who or when i talk to anyway.

i'm thinking this is some sort of auto reply message that somehow got turned out one day while my phone was bouncing around in my pocket one hot sweaty day..

the other issue i have had with my berry is it would first currupt all my data on the SD card then tell me that its pooched and farmat it, sometimes the format would fail and i would have to reboot the phone and try again, working after the reboot... i have track this to a motherboard issue and replaced the mother board i have not had it happen jet

this auto reply hapened on the last mobo and on this one too i have looked around for a bit and cant seem to find any "auto reply" settings, the crappiest part is that i dont even see the message in my sent messages

I think this is a problem at the network side, not your hardware. I suggest you swap your SIM into a dumbphone (borrow for a few minutes if you don't have one) and re-test there to prove it is not device related. Might even be worth testing with your phone simply switched off to prove it comes from the network.

If I'm right you need to report the problem to your cellular provider.

I know its not hardware and i hope its not my network cause if it is they are paying my service bills for a while...

as i have said i switched mobos so ther for swaped all my info and cards over to a new mobo and the problem followed..

when i did the device switch looks like my settings and that problem followed

shot a test txt to 1-416-473-4112 and you will see that i mean,
