Hey everyone,

Just got my 9800 yesterday, and so far, I like it a lot.
I want to love it, but can't because of a few minor hiccups that some other users are experiencing.. (mini-freezes, etc.)

Some suggestions are to wipe it and reload, others exchange it for another 9800. I think the wipe would solve my problems.
Could someone give me some instructions on that?

Also, is there an update to the O.S.?

make sure u have backup file created using DM 6.

wipe it use bbsak or jl_cmder.. you will get a 507 error

download .161 (leaked update) or .141

install it..

go to c:\program files\common files \ research in motion \apploader

delete vendor.xml

click on the apploader.exe and installation should begin.. remember to check off all the apps you need or uncheck those you don't need and proceed.

after it comes back up restore backup file
