    hello everybody,
just purchased a Torch 9800, and quite lost
Previuosly I had a Bold 9700, so some changes in the intefaces...
For messages for instance, is it possible to have thinner headrs ? I used to configure my bolds to have a lot of visible row, but couldn't find the options (header size I gues, sorry my BB is a french one).
Is there also a mean to avoid the portrait/landscape auto switch ?

    cheers.
    Mr E.

Hi there, congrats on your new Torch. I'm sure you'll love it once you figure it out!

Messages - there is no option in the current Torch OS's to select whether your message headers are on 1 line or 2, as we had on the 9700. Maybe they'll add this in future OS builds.

You need a 3rd party application to avoid switching from portrait to landsape accidentally.
I have the app QuickLaunch which also includes this function. The other stand-alone app which I've heard of is called LockTilt.
(I would highly recommend QL though.)

Having the keyboard out autolocks the screen to portrait unless viewing videos.
