Little issues making the TORCH a bad fit for me...

Some minor issues are making this BB not work for me.

1. Why do i have to press delete twice on emails even though i unclicked confirm delete from options? This is a big extra step

2. Emails seem to lag when opening

3. HTML emails come up too big in window. I have to pinch to make fit. Any way to have this be auto?

4. Its not auto pulling images even though i have that clicked

5. The phone lock button keeps getting pressed in my pocked (not good)

6. Why dont any of my apps work?? Anyone find a work around for Viigo?? I cant live without it

Any solves for these issues would be greatly appreciated

I'm just going to take an educated guess and blame this one on RIM. It took them so long to get developer tools/APIs out and available. You have a new OS - I am sure there will be some apps that carry over from OS 5, but probably most will not.

2. I see a very brief delay myself, what do you mean by lag

3. Sorry can't reproduct this.

4. I can confirm this. Mine isn't as well, I did confirm the option is select as well.

5. I suspect this will always be a problem as the button is fairly large and stick out from the device a bit. It really should almost be recessed to prevent it from getting pushed accidently

6. New OS. I have already seen a few updates so that the program will work with OS6. Give it a little bit more time and i am sure Viigo will have an update.

I find myself locking the phone frequently while using it. I may have to figure out a different way to hold it....tough it is more sensitive than other BBs I've have or played with.

For those who keep accidently pressing their lock button may want to add a short little password in order for the lock to work. No more unlocking and calling China on accident

So far the only complaint I have is the lock button. WAY too easy to unlock, especially since I carry it in my pocket upside down. Not too keen at all on setting up a password for the unlock. I think they should come up with a software solution to unlock it by adding another keypress, like pressing the lock button then the back button within a few seconds to unlock it.

I know that my gmail html emails will only auto get images when I permit by user. Have to do it on the web gmail and there's no way to grant images permissions globally, only by user.

I was able to download the storm 2. OS 5 version from the website. Seems to work fine for now, just have to tap the screen for the article and pictures to adjust to fit on the page. I haven't tested everything out yet but hopefully they make a torch OS 6 version. Viigo was/is my favorite app on my 9700
