When you press the and hold the short "a" it will lock the keypad and the screen which is great, however it does not last for very long and if you slide it closed and open it is now unlocked, kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it of a keypad and screen lock ??
As well if you press the unlock button it unlocks the screen and keypad too, again defeats the purpose if you have it in your pocket and locked so it doesn't do random things while in there.

Try using Pattern Lock Lite. It is a free app that works quite well with the Torch and if you require more functionality, the paid version has tons of great features.

Agreed! I just bought PatternLock today and it's a great app! Love how you can assign to the hardware key. The existing lock feature was practically useless.
