Keyboard stuck

I have a 9800 bundle 2647. Since last night my keyboard gets stuck. I can type on the screen but not on the keyboard. I did try hard reset and the keyboard would work for a an hr or so. I even remove the last app I installed which was the BB Bridge. Before the update the phone was working great.

Any suggestions?

Yes I did. The keyboard would work for a bit then it would get stuck.

By "stuck" do you mean that it just doesn't work or that it keeps pressing the same key like it's holding it down or that it duplicates keystrokes?

There are basically 2 schools of thought here, it's either a hardware issue or a software issue. If it is a software issue, might I suggest you try to backup and wipe the phone completely? There might have been an awkward install that mucked up the Operating System a little bit causing issues with the keyboard. If you don't think that's the issue, you could try removing the battery and spraying the back with compressed air and spraying the keyboard down, or using a q-tip dipped in acetone to clean around and between the keys and any crevice in the back (with the phone off). Acetone is an alcohol and it evaporates quickly so it is preferred over water for electronics.

This is what I mean by stuck: when I open the slider I do have a password. I cannot type my password on the keyboard. However I can type on touchscreen.
