Review seems to agree with everyone else. It's nice for RIM and BB users but not much else. Also validates my previous comparisons to the 2 year old Pre.

Isn't it supposed to be nice for RIM and Blackberry users?

Yes, but RIM is failing in the marketplace and was trying to attract new users besides the BB faithful. Doesn't seem like the Torch will do that.

You know RIM has faithful users and those users will adopt. Remember, this is the first touchscreen BB that AT&T has had. Sure, it won't sell like the Iphone or Droid has, but it appears to be a step up from what AT&T has in their BB inventory.

Put it this way.....left hand has a BB 9700....right hand has a BB 9800....which would you want to have?

Being 9000 user it looks a step up or me. I use a phone to make calls, receive email from multiple accounts and texting. From the review it has both positives and negatives as every phone does.

If they have improved the browser which it seems they have then job done.

I absolutely agree. My BIGGEST complaint with my current BB is the browser experience. I'm sorry it is horrendous. My hubby's HD2 can log into my worksite, my banking site, and actively work on the pages as I would with my laptop. My 8900 is NOWHERE near that capable.

It looks like this Browser will change that...and it has a keyboard to boot! I can't wait to get it!

The MHZ doesnt bother me...not something I ever really cared about or wanted.
