Anyway to kinda boost speaker phone on the torch? Like an app or setting that can boost it?

I also have a problem with my speaker phone. My Bold 9000 awesome when on speaker phone, but now that I've switched to the 9800, its not good at all. I can't hear people when I'm driving or even walking around a room. I find myself having to hold it close to my ear. I've seen here & there on google people talk about how an OS can make it louder. Is this true? Has someone out there had luck increasing the volume with a certain OS? I am currently running 6.0 Bundle 2647 v6.0.0.600 platform 6.6.0.223. Thanks.
