Icon in notifacation bar?

I had an Icon pop up in my notification bar and I have no idea what it is?
Anybody know what it is? its the one on the right with the # 1 beside it.
I know the first one is app updates but that second one has got me puzzled, I've search the forums and Google but no luck.

It's a pushed application alert of some sort... I don't know if those are pushed by your carrier, or somehow by App World. It's kind of like an ad, automatically alerts you to some new app to download or something. I always just delete them out of my messages folder. Haven't gotten one in quite some time come to think of it...

Found an message from App World pushing a flashlight app some time last week didn't even notice it till i went back through all my messages.

i thought that these type of messages would come to my device too often and get annoying as they are usually for apps that i would never use....
