I remember when using my Bold 9700 there was a a Validate menu but under OS 6 on the Torch I don't see it. Anyhow, I tried to validate my email accounts via my computer at https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html but it says I must use my BB. I started here - https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=mycingular but it didn't recognize my username and password so I went to create one - even though I am receiving my email (thought it might fix a slow Hotmail issue).

It is done via the carriers BIS site. Each carrier has their own BIS website. I don't remember doing it on my 9700.
