I can only search for the from, to or title fields. But i want to search within the content field.

i havent been able to find a way to search by content... check out the cb app store, or bb app world for perhaps a "detailed" search app?

"Universal" search isn't very universal at all. You can't search email by content or contacts by phone number, etc. Disappointing.

If you want to search a contact by number (assuming you don't have caller id? Just dial their number, and their name will pop up on screen. If it's not who you meant to call by dialing the number, hang up...

Go into the general message box. Bring up the menu and select Search By. You should see "Advanced". The enter the text in the "Message" field.
