Default How to Lock the Screen?

How do we lock the screen in the 9800? In the 9700, we press the * key.

the password locking is an automatic function... you can set the locking interval in the options.

Got to set you pw in security then enable and set your time out as you would normally. Now you can lock it but just cuz u lock don't mean u will get pw to ask you to enter wp. This depends on your time out. I always set mine to 0 so when I lock I get pw prompts.

I had same problem. I just moved the password lock icon to be one of my main icons. Just hit it before putting phone away.

On another note has anyone tried slider berry w/the Torch.

You cant seem to set password time out to 0 on OS6, any other options? I am concerned with the phone unlocked in my pocket because of how sensitive the lock button is.

I set my convenience key to be the lock. That has worked pretty good for me so far.

I just figured this out. If you setup a password a "password lock" app appears. I just put it on top of my tray and am using that.

    Use standard keyboard shortcuts:
Push and Hold "A" = lock screen.
    Push "K" = lock BlackBerry.

Note: This assumes that you don't have search when typing enabled (on by default). To disable automatic search and enable keyboard shortcuts: Home Screen > Menu > Options > Launch by Typing = Application Shortcuts.
