Got to set you pw in security then enable and set your time out as you would normally. Now you can lock it but just cuz u lock don't mean u will get pw to ask you to enter wp. This depends on your time out. I always set mine to 0 so when I lock I get pw prompts.

I had same problem. I just moved the password lock icon to be one of my main icons. Just hit it before putting phone away.

Use standard keyboard shortcuts:
Push and Hold "A" = lock screen.
Push "K" = lock BlackBerry.
Note: This assumes that you don't have search when typing enabled (on by default). To disable automatic search and enable keyboard shortcuts: Home Screen > Menu > Options > Launch by Typing = Application Shortcuts.Last edited by Bob G; 08-13-2010 at 12:02 PM.
