How to jump to beginning of long text message conversation???
I currently have over a year of daily text messaging saved up for a couple of contacts. I choose to do this just to keep the conversations. However, it takes forever and ever to scroll through the conversation now. I was wondering if there is a shortcut to get to the very beginning of the conversation?? Or even is there a way to get to certain dates??
Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks! - 01-16-2012, 11:38 PM

I've been reading through other threads here and other people have suggested pressing T on the message, so I tried that. However, it does not work.
I've also used the caps button and spacebar to page up, which works but only to go back three days and then it stops working!
Thanks for the suggestion though!

Pressing t on a message works...
Like. I'm sure it works.
100%.
Was the cursor(blue bar thing) on the message or the text input box? - 01-16-2012, 11:53 PM #5
T works on mine too.

Works for me too. "T" brings me to the first text I sent to my wife back when I still had my Pearl (the whole SMS thread transferred to my Torch when I upgraded).
Just to reiterate, the cursor has to be somewhere other than the text entry box at the bottom. And, it only works with the full virtual keyboard on display (not the "reduced" version), or with the slide-out keyboard.
And "B" brings you back to the bottom, or end of a list. The same shortcuts will go to the top or bottom of most lists on a BlackBerry including email messages and web pages.Last edited by joeldf; 01-17-2012 at 10:29 AM.

THANK YOU!!!!! The very last message helped me! You are a GENIUS!!! I didn't realize that when you were pressing "T" that it had to be with the virtual keyboard. I NEVER use that because I prefer the slide-out keyboard.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
