I use Scanlife. Even though it got poor reviews on App World, I have not had any problems with it.
I use this too and love it! Works perfectly and you can't beat free. :D
I use my own apps for qr code ;p but I did try scanlife to scan normal barcode and it work 40% of the time. I wish there was a good barcode(not qr code) scanner like there is on android, but hey, at least we have the lib from google.
BB apprworld code scanner does it for me, works perfect..
I use QR Code Scanner Pro too. Works great and I'd recommend it anytime.
he(or she) is looking for a normal barcode scanner, not a qr code scanner, scanlife is his (or her) only option.
I'd recommend to review the bar code readers in App World and make sure you pick one that reads all your needed bar code formats (UPC, EAN, Aztec, QR, Datamatrix, etc.)
While the QR Code scanner recommended above is good, it does *not* read anything other than QR codes (hence the name). Airline tickets are not QR Codes.
Curios as to why you want to scan an airline ticket?
Are you trying to store the details on your BB (gate, boarding time, seating etc...?)
