1. Select the Options

3. Select Security Wipe.
4. Check the items you wish to remove:
Emails, Contacts, etc.
User Installed Applications

Also I recommend you do a wipe with BBSAK and after a clean installation of the OS of your preference.
you will not regret it!

I would do a backup on DM (not necessary)
Download the most current OS6
Erase the device
Then use DM to load the new/fresh version of OS6
Login to [your carrier].blackberry.com and transfer your email address/es
Login to BlackBerryAppWorld to confirm change of device and pinThis posting is provided as is and implies no warranties. - 02-24-2013, 09:46 PM #8
For a quick way you can wipe the phone I guess you could just put a passcode on the phone then get it wrong ten times... Lol. I've never tried it (might not delete all the info...) but when my phone says that information will be erased upon failure, I tend to take it seriously.

OP: just happened to look at this forum and my suggestion is to "Listen to the Mod-Howarmat": he and any other Mod will never lead you the wrong way! They have seen everything on here and can always offer the best and easiest instruction based on your experience.
Akavbb: I believe you meant 'You use BBSAK to do a wipe prior to installing the new, clean OS, not after. What reason would there be to wipe a new OS you just installed?
OP: if you are going to use a program like BBSAK and have never done a wipe/reload before, you should do it as Howarmat has instructed and you will achieve the same or similar results. Good Luck!
