i�ve just bought two days ago, BB Torch. So far soo good.
Please, i need a little tip here.

how can i disable the SIM Card PIN. I don�t want anymore, i have to restart the blackberry, put a code on it just to get my carrier network.

Hi,

That link only says how to change the Sim PIN, not how to disable it.

How can I stop my Torch asking me to put in the Sim PIN every time I restart the phone?

I currently have a pin for my sim card, and to be honest I prefer it that way.

At least if you have the unfortunate thing of your phone being lost, or stolen the person who has it won't be able to read your information from it.

If you enabled it, the option should read Disable. Does it not say that?

If it still says enable, you may have a password set under Security Options and not a SIM PIN.
