So, I got a new cover for my Torch today and I've been having problems with it because everytime I put the cover on, the autolock locks my phone and everytime I take the cover out the phone is fine again. I can't use my phone with this cover ON 'cause everytime I put the cover, it locks my screen. How can I completely disble the autolock button that's on the top of the phone??? HELP!

It doesn't have a name... It's those random covers that you buy at kisosks.

Can't I do a battery pull or something before putting the cover on so the phone won't get locked?

There is nothing you can do to stop the physical lock button on top of the device from working. If this aftermarket case is pushing the button then take it back.

what they should have done is made the lock key like the convenience key, a bit tougher to push. if a breeze hits mine it triggers!

You can disable this button if you take the phone apart.

OK, this might seem simple, but why not cut a small hole in case where button is?!?

Yes you can, but it also voids the warranty and the possibility of screwing something up is good with the torch as there are many very tiny parts. Trust me I know, I've taken 3 completely apart now.
