So, a second hand 9800 just came in my post today which i bought. I just tried to unlock it, however once i get to the "identity and associations" screen, when i press MEP + ALT + 2, nothing comes up. Beside network, it says disabled :/

Anyone got any ideas. It is locked to the orange network.

If network is disabled I believe the phone is unlocked. Try a SIM card not from Orange. Should be ready to go.

you dont need to do alt + 2 + whatever...
when you put a simcard from a different carrier, the phone will ask the unlock.
dont put 10 bad codes, you will get hardlock.

it will say blocked beside network.

I will say "blocked. Do you want unlock it" "yes" "insert code" and then u will need a code.
