Occasionally I will be typing something and my cursor will start going nuts and moving around the screen and generally messing up what I'm trying to type. It will put the cursor 2 paragraphs up so suddenly I'm typing in the middle of another word. Also occasionally it will put in strange symbols as I'm typing, like if I put an E it will turn into an E with an accent on it or something.
A hard reboot will usually solve the problem, but it comes randomly and is frustrating. Any ideas?

Or you could try adjusting the screen and trakpad sensitivity especially if you are using a screen protector. When typing, what keyboard are you using?

i had this problem with a replacement torch i got. basically the trackpad was phantomly deteting movement and scrolling around, mostly down. a tew trackpad should solve the issue. i would try doing a warranty replacement.
