Not even 24 hours after i got my torch, i dropped it on the concrete. It wasn't a long drop, but I was upset. I didn't have a case for it yet, so scratches on the silver/chrome parts. Then I could tell the slidey screen part felt loose, so now I'm overly paranoid about it.
Of course, this weekend I dropped my phone 3 times, but it was on carpet.
My first one was dropped a total of 3 times and the third screwed it up to the point that i had to get it replaced (the backlight sensor didnt work when the phone was slide open). The second one i have has been dropped only once on ashphalt and it chewed my bezel up completely (6 chips) ouch. Ashphalt eats this phones bezel up easily.
One drop 48 hours after I got it. Dropped onto the road and scuffed up the side a bit. It's white so it shows up real good. Got an Otter Box and covered it right up. Can't see it anymore. Seems to have protected mine from a couple of drops since.
