Default Hate to beat a dead horse, but virtual keyboard clicks...

I do not know much about my blackberry torch 9800--I just use it. But I was skimming through the appworld and found an app that makes the phone vibrate every time you press a letter on the virtual keyboard, which got me to thinking: is there an app or something out there that allows the torch 9800 to make a sound (like with the iphone) when you press a letter on the virtual keyboard?

Here again, I know this issue has been brought up, but there doesn't seem to be anything too recent on the issue. Additionally, I don't know too much about smartphones; I just know that I want this simple feature. Thanks for your help in advance...

Look in Options>Typing and Input>Keyboard>Select Key Tone, a check mark should show up, Escape and save. You should now get an audible tone when you type.

The keytone does not sound when using the virtual keyboard on the torch 9800; also, I was looking to see if there was anything more pleasant-sounding out there.

Thank you, though!

Yeah, the key tones option is only when clicking on any of the physical keys or buttons on the phone (including the slide out keyboard which already clicks on its own), but not the virtual keyboard keys. Which is a bit misleading given where the option is. And, it's not a click sound, but a tone, which is more obvious with the term "key tone", but also a bit obnoxious sounding.

Yes-it is definitely obnoxious sounding. Yes, I was looking for a sound when typing on the virtual keyboard.

Sorry, didn't know that you didn't get an audible on the virtual keyboard on those as well as physical one. But then, I've always wanted my keyboard to make as little noise as possible.

What's the name of the app that vibrates when typing on the virtual keyboard

Advanced Calls-However, I just discovered that the vibrations don't occur when texting. Only when you are using the virtual keyboard in other applications. Go figure
