I'm trying to download google maps from google's site. But I have problem: instead of downloading last version 4.5.1 my browser keeps on forcing me to install 4.4.0.

Can somebody help?

Confirmed, which is weird cause when 4.5 was announced I went and downloaded it without any problems

According to some comments today on the CB blog post on this release, they rolled back to 4.4.

Blah, 4.4 doesn't even acquire a gps lock properly...

4.5 was riddled with bugs.disappearing location icon requiring restarting of the app, crashing everytime there wasnt perfect network coverage,freezing up etc...and all this in the hour or so I had to use it last week.I must've restarted it 6 or 7 times.

I've just gone back to BBMaps... Tired of GM's poor updates... That and 1600m location estimate is kinda worthless...
