    hi
    i have searched a lot today but found no answer to my issue. after 2 years of not using BIS, i fired up my old Bold yesterday.
    gmail sync working for mail and calendar but not contacts.
    24 hours later still no contacts.
    wireless sync is checked in contacts and in the email settings.
    any ideas?

    I have a lot of ideas. most of which don't work!

    You have to enable it from the source.. which you can access from your browser. In Gmail, find "settings" and choose the tab that may be right for you!!
