    Having an issue with my Gmail labels. As of yesterday, I noticed that when I went to apply a label to a new e-mail, the label list was wonky. (Technical term.) The labels were out of alphabetical order, and some missing. Others appeared to be renamed - 7 of them renamed to "\Important".

    I believe this may be a side affect from the new ability to create long label names in Gmail (Long label names in Gmail - Official Gmail Blog).

    I've tried renaming labels from the web side, but no joy.

    Check your labels Gmail users. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    No. Its the Gmail via the standard push email.

    Just for kicks, I just installed the Gmail web app - labels show correctly there. So it has to be specific to the Gmail plugin.

    That would have been my guess. RIM may need to make a change to reflect the Gmail change. However, I won't hold my breath.

    Could be.

    I just deleted the Gmail account, battery pull, re-added the account. The labels are still messed up.
