Gmail - Disable Conversations view?

Hey guys,
I recently added my gmail account to my BlackBerry Torch 9800 and its syncing both e-mails and calendar. My e-mails for Gmail account on my BB are showing up in "Conversation" view where it combines all messages

Under Messages --> Options --> Message Display and Actions, it shows "Single Messages".

Is there a way to change it for gmail? or is that the way its programmed/designed?

Update:
I found something interesting. If i let my gmail e-mails go to my messages Section, it shows e-mail seperate instead of a conversation. if I leave it in my Gmail messages section, it shows messages reply as a conversation.

If you go into any email icon, press the BB button options. Then click on "inbox management" and select where messages sent to each of your addresses go.

Only thing I found if I send gmail messages to "Messages" inbox, it won't give me Access to "filters".
