I'm trying to decide if I should get a screen protector for my Torch 9800 or not. I have found a few "glass or plastic" threads on other Blackberries, but I can't seem to find the same information for the Torch. It feels like glass to me, but I would like to make sure. I can't seem to find anywhere, from RIM or anyone else, what the screen material is.

Does anyone have any insight that I may have missed?

doubt it.... put a screen protector on and that way you wont regret it later...

I got a screen protector and it works great. It was actually for a HTC tilt and they were on sale at the ATT store. So the rep cut the the screen protector for us and put it on both my husbands and my phone. Its working perfect and we got 3x SP for $5.

I have an invisible shield on mine and it works great, no issues at all with the phone

I have the privacy screen protector. It looks and feel great. No problems with the touchscreen.
