I know these are unreleased, beta O.S.'s, but it is an interesting thread, nonetheless. Anybody in CB a member of this thread's main forum? I would've thought somebody would have said something about this by now.

By the way, I was not sure exactly where I should have posted this thread. Gonna put it here. (Mods move if needed)

The leaked os for the Torch2 is out. Maybe he is testing it. Who knows. I d/l the file but its just to compare of the files, maybe switch a couple of things around.

The 6.1 we have seen here on CB that was leaked was for the torch2(version number ?) not the torch1(9800) as that thread states it's for the torch1(9800).

There are 6.1 leaks out there but none specifically for the 9800, I think that's what most hybrid builders are using cod's from.

Exactly correct. There's been several posts about beta OS's for the torch that people have spotted that got registered but were never released.

If RIM is Beta-testing the 6.1.0.XX OS on the T1 9800, then 6.1 must be compatible with 9800's hardware, after all, right?

Unless opengl was mandatory across the entire OS UI, I don't think there is any reason why it wouldn't be.
