    Hi guys,

I've done a quick search - but not 100% sure...

Both me and my gf have BB Torches.

In the morning, when we wake up, we've both received emails furing the night - her Torch is flashing red, but mine isn't!

Mine does normally flash for notifications (during the day).

I heard that maybe there's a 15 minute period and then it will stop flashing - but my gf's isn't doing this. I can't find a setting for this either.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Mine acts the same as yours. Flashes for a bit for emails and then stops. All other notifications flash until I check them.

Have you considered BeBuzz? It allows you to set colour to your alerts and they flash until you pick up the message. They have a free version.
I actually don't even remember how the native notifications go. BeBuzz is one of the first things I get.
Thanks, I'll have a look at BeBuzz.

I don't actually have a problem with the native notifications, was just curious as to why my gf's torch was flashing, but mine wasn't.

Look at when hers came in a vs yours. The light times out after a bit.

Thanks, but both emails are timed at 2.30 in the morning.

Just done a test on both Torches and it's woring as described (stops flashing after a bit).

    Thanks for all your help!

Mine also flashes for a while then stops, even with BBM and other IM notifications, not just emails. Glad you got it sorted out, if so.
