So I just picked up and unlocked a BELL TORCH - had a few to pick from so chose the one with the "clickiest" space and delete key ( I like feedback ) and I have to say the device is spectacular and I havent even powered it on yet!
Heres some eye candy
Congrats on getting ur hands on one! How did u manage to get a dealer to hook u up? I've got friends who have been goin nutz to get their hands on em without taking the AT&T leap like me.

Not a verification that its fake. I heard that the Bell one isnt branded and it does not say Torch at the back it says the megapixel number instead?

Production date only a week ago ! 22/09/10
great build quality
some of the sliding mechanisms were too loose and some stiff...this was kind of in the middle...
Yes it shipped with.246
It was a smart marketing move to ship with this OS version but they should have thought about this well in advance before bumbling the release of the device here in Canada
Now later today I have to transfer everything from my 9700 to this device - do we have to use DM6 or DM5?
Plus I hope all my apps are automatically compatible with OS6

I would avoid using the device switch wizard or even using a full restore from a 9700 backup.
You should restore your data like contacts/calendar etc. and nothing else - download your apps again and take the time to go through all the settings and do it the way you want. It'll help you learn OS 6 and avoid problems with trying to move 5.0 stuff to 6.0.
