Facebook Calender Notifications won't go away.

Hello. I am not sure if this thread was already created, but I'm a lazy American so I'd thought I'd just post it.

When I look at my notifications bar, it doesn't have an icon showing them, but when I click on it, it shows 3 friends' birthdays from months ago and I can't seem to make them go away, even if I click on them.

I've disabled calender updates from Facebook and all, but that doesn't fix it.

Any suggestions?

The birthdays actually sync via contact sync in Facebook so turn off the contact and calendar sync. The calendar sync does events and birthdays sync under contacts.

Once you've done that hook the phone up to desktop manager and if you go into Backup/Restore you can delete the entire calendar that Facebook created which will remove all those entries.

I'd suggest that you do a backup before manaully removing data entries just in case
