When I call any automated phone system my 9800 does not allow me to enter any extensions. Even when I tried to contact AT&T's 611 I was not able to confirm the phone number I was calling about. Which is usually done by striking the #1 on the keypad. I talked to the rep who notified me that this is a known issue but have no anticipated fix date. Has anybody else had this problem with their phone and is there a fix?

    Thank you,
    Tony

I have never had this problem with any of my BlackBerry phones. I would start by pushing the Green send button/Options/Smart Dialing and letting us know what your settings are.

To access extensions in all other corporations, call the number, then

Also I noticed that I can not even delete voice mail. Very strange. Maybe I should choose the pig screaming Weeeee Weeeee ring tone and throw the phone.......lol

    Tony,

Those are the exact settings as my device. I dont know where else in the phone you could check.

The only other things that I would try is:
    1. Updating the phone to the current software level.
    2. Battery pull to reset the phone.
    3. Backup the phone, do a security wipe, make a test call and see if it works restore the phone and test again.
