- Camera... The app is locked and the stats are hidden, so it must be for some reason.

- Battery is the same battery as the one in the storm.

Thanks for answering our questions! How is it running right now? Is it running pretty smooth (close to a release-worthy version) or are there a lot of issues that need to be worked out before release?

Its running incredible smoothly. No reboots in weeks, no lag, but still needs a few tweaks. A lot of menus are missing still and a lot of apps are blocked.

Ask him to compare it to a 9000's keyboard, if at all possible.

He said its exactly the same size as the one on the 9700 but for some reason feels easier to type on. The bottom keys are bigger than the regular ones too.

Does the screen have some kind of lock when your on a call so you don't mute or hang-up on someone or call anyone with your face?!

The pictures show an old OS prob dating back to march, so I'm going to say it's not running as smooth as possible.

Not sure on what OS version they are at right now, so I couldn't tell you that one.

It does come with the webkit, but the app is locked. They won't allow access to it.

OH! I'd also like to know about the speaker, how loud is it, how does it sound, etc.

He said it sounds just like on the storm. On the video he sent me I can't hear a difference. The speaker is on the top back part of the phone, where the MUTE and LOCK keys are.

I have a question about the feel of the phone in the hand, or hands, especially with the keyboard open. Is it easy to use and type on? Is it top or bottom heavy? Does it feel good in the hands, or is it bulky and unnatural?

The thing he said he loved from the moment he opened the phone was how it feels in your hand. If you are a 9000 lover you will absolutely love this one. The crazy thing about it is the size. When its closed its just a LITTLE thicker than a 9700 and a LITTLE taller than the 9700, but almost same size.

Its a little bit heavier than a Storm 2.

I'm a bit curious about how it feels to have the trackpad elevated above the keyboard. I imagine the distance isn't quite as much as it seems from the pictures, but it might be somewhat awkward.

Sal from the info you've gathered and from what you have seen I'd this thing going to be another storm1 flop or is this thing going to be hot!

HOT HOT HOT. No question about it. HW wise the phone is flawless and SF wise... they are very close to accomplish something really special.

I'm not sure what's the latest build, so I can't tell you for sure... but I think its not.

Its a tiny bit bigger than the 9700, but by almost nothing...

You can type on it with one hand like on any other keyboard berry.

By screen size being the same as the Storm, do you mean the resolution is the same? Because I thought we saw some pictures that showed the actual size was smaller than the Storm.

(might be 1 or 2 mm smaller than the storm's... actually not sure)

Speaker sounds kinda like the storm 2 really... I saw it through video and they sounded the same, but it was a little distorted because of the mic on his camera.
