I have had the blackberry 9800 (on the Rogers network) for quite a while and never had problems with sending/receiving picture text messages before. Now whenever someone sends one to me, it comes up with "***Not Retrieved Yet*** Download Now" With an expiration date for the download.. When I click the download now, it says 'Receiving Content' but never does!? .. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

In my text messaging options for SMS settings the 'Network To Send Over' has 4 options
1. Circuit Switched
2. Circuit Switched Preferred
3. Packet Switch Preferred
4. Packet Switch

...I have no clue what any of that means, it is on the circuit switched at the moment..
also in the SMS settings, the 'Data Coding' has the option of 7bit and UCS2.. no clue what that is also. It's on the 7bit..

Maybe all of this info is irrelevant! I hope some of you lovely people have some suggestions that will help me.

Open your message folder->menu->Options->Text, and check it's set like:

Try something silly. Change the retrieval to something else, save it, do a battery pull, change it back to always, do another batter pull........pray.
