I received an email into my GMail account which wasn't important so without even opening it, I highlighted it, clicked the RED X button to delete it and selected to delete from handheld only.
I don't know what the heck happened but for some reason it didn't get deleted. Now I am stuck with this message in my message list and a new email notification icon showing that I have 1 unread message.
To top things off, I can't even use the BB menu key on this message i.e. nothing happens when I push the menu button even though I am able to use the trackpad to highlight the message itself. I can't open the message either. The RED X button still becomes lighted when the message is selected but pressing it again doesn't do anything either.
I have tried the on/off already but that didn't work.
I also tried the "Reconcile Now" option for my GMail account and that didn't work either.
I'll give it a few more minutes before I do the battery pull or anything else.
