Right I wondered if any of you can help me, I'm going abroad next month and was just wondering about the data service. Where I am staying has Wi-Fi so would I be able to have data services enabled whilst connected to the Wi-Fi and not get charged any extra costs as long as I turn off data services when not in range of the Wi-Fi?
I travel to Canada every so often with the same concerns... Just make sure under the mobile network options that you turn off the data and roaming check boxes, and have the wifi turned on. I've never had problems with it.
